Dance Rabbit Dance produces dance and other cultural events at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Rutledge, MO. Some are primarily for Northeast Missouri (NEMO) and some are open to the general public (with dining and housing options available).
Dance Rabbit Dance events include:
- Contra Culture (4/27-4/29/12) A youth and family friendly, gender-free contra dance weekend that will feature regional callers and bands. Open to the public.
- Modern dance with Jeanne Snodgrass (Mondays 5/7-6/11). Primarily for NEMO.
- Gunter and Korah (5/11-5/13/12) of the Quad Cities QC SoDa teach ballroom dance. Primarily for NEMO.
- Kristen Graves (8/24/12) house concert. Primarily for NEMO.
- Off Grid Blues (9/21-9/23/12) A blues dance workshop weekend intensive exploring inclusive community, sustainability, and dance excellence that will feature national instructors and our local blues band. Open to the public.
We are seeking more cultural events, especially African dance instruction, house concerts, yoga instruction, and more.
